We couldn’t believe it…..but Santa visited St Fergus’ today!!!! We heard bells and then Santa appeared in our class…. it was amazing. We chatted to Santa, sang songs with him and were lucky enough to receive a present too! Thank you very much Santa!

Christmas Story Sharing
Today P7 visited our class because they had written us all a fantastic personalised Christmas Story. Some of us became elves and some of us went on Santa’s sleigh. Primary 7 read us our stories and then we had time to play together. We even had a milk and Oreo treat! We had so much fun.

Goodbye Book Buddies!
Tonight was our final Book Buddies meeting and yet again it was a huge success. Tonight we read Aliens Love Underpants and designed our very own aliens and underpants for them to steal. It was very funny. The boys and girls had lovely things to say about Book Buddies… here are a few of the comments….

We Love Our Library!
We had a fantastic trip to the library today to celebrate the gifting of the Primary 1 Bookbug bags. We heard 3 super stories and voted for our favourite…. I Am Bat was our top pick. We would like to say thank you very much to all the library staff and parent helpers!

The Book Buddies Session 3
The Bedtime Book Buddies
Thank you to everyone who came to the second Bedtime Book Buddies group…. you were very brave to brace the weather! We listened to a lovely story called Eric Makes A Splash and we drew a new animal friend for Eric. We shared some great stories and giggled at Pirates Love Underpants. We will have our next meeting on Thursday 15th November.
Learning to Play and Playing to Learn
Our last morning of free play across the P1 and P2 base was a huge success and the children have been asking to do it again. We saw fantastic interactions amongst the children, wonderful imagination and brilliant problem solving.
