Today we managed to power down and learn outdoors. We managed a mini beast hunt, creating art, problem solving and team building! Everyone worked well together to enjoy the day, a perfect chance to reflect on our Rainforest learning and carbon footprint too. Everyone will sleep well tonight! Miss Johnston came to visit too!

FairTrade Fortnight
Another busy week in Primary 7…..our dojo winner this week was Ailidh and our certificate winner was Mark. Well done to you both!
We have been learning all about synonyms and antonyms in literacy this week and the children have managed this well.
In maths the children completed an assessment in symmetry, including rotational symmetry and we have moved on to angles for our final topic of the term.
The children drew some wonderful rainforest art work this week too…very tropical! They also created some new and inspiring designs for a Fair Trade t-shirt. Snacks are still being sold.
Our R.M.E topic has provided some interesting and honest conversations about sectarianism too. The children are sharing honestly and applying themselves in a mature way. Well done.
We will discuss which charity we want to raise money for and begin selling our CD’s next week!
