One more sleep until the Christmas Fayre! The children have worked really to make fantastic handnmade cards, hot chocolate treats and cakes. Hopefully all their hard work will pay off!

The money topic has allowed children an opportunity to extend their learning into real life situations and they are becoming very aware of profit, loss and marketing strategies.

Our data handling topic is also going well. I enjoyed finding out about our favourite and most popular socks!

Our dojo winner this week was Alexis. Well done!

We have begun to watch the news daily and take notes. This will develop into a weekly summary and allow children another opportunity to shine : )

Another busy week in Primary 7b.

The children had their first High School visit. Everyone had a great time and they represented Whitelees well. Another visit next week to look forward to!

We started our new topic on the Solar System. We learned about the names and order of planets as well as the size and scale.

We finished off our money topic with an assessment and a lesson on debit and credit cards.

Our Its Good To Be Me winner was Zoe. Well done!

We enjoyed a movie, sweets and technology afternoon to celebrate our success at last weeks Enterprise. A well deserved treat!

This week we all worked hard to make our WW2 coffee afternoon a great success. We managed to raise £218.02 and after taking off our outgoings we managed to raise £ 155 profit!

Everyone played a part in this success showing that they have been able to plan, create, work with others, bake, budget and deliver a successful afternoon! Thank you to all the parents, grandparents and friends of Whitelees for showing your support.
