Online Booking for Parent’s Evening October 2019

We are using the online booking system for our parents’ evenings.  This will allow parents to log on and book their own appointment.  Parents Evening will take place on Thursday 10th March 2019.  Please note: Parents’ Evening for Room 3 only will take place Wednesday 9th March 2019.

Go to http://www.parents-booking.co.uk/sttimothysps

PLEASE NOTE: You need to type this address into your website browser’s ‘address bar’ or copy and paste the above address into your browser. Do not try to ‘Google’ this website address or click on the link above. This is a common mistake on phones and tablets especially.

Login to see which appointments are available and select one that is convenient for you.  If you have more than one child in the school we cannot stress enough that you go on swiftly to assure you get appointment slots together. Office staff can no longer make appointments. There will only be one appointment per child available.

You will need:

  • Your title and surname (these must match those we have on record for you)
  • Your child’s first name, surname and date of birth

The system will be available to take bookings from 30th September.

Once you have logged in, we suggest you use the ‘Automated Booking Wizard’ to make your appointments. You will be shown your child/children and their teachers, and asked to enter your availability. Our wizard will use this information to calculate the best order for your appointments, allowing you to navigate the teachers in the quickest and most efficient manner.

Troubleshooting Tips – please read before booking!

  • To login you need to enter the details we have on record for you and your child. If you have recently changed your title or surname, for example, and not informed us, we will be expecting you to login with the details we have on record
  • The email address you enter is only used to receive a confirmation of your appointment. If the system gives you an error when you login, it will not be the email address that is the problem
  • If you have several children to make bookings for, and decide not to use the Booking Wizard, but instead make appointments individually, use the ‘Change Child’ button on the blue bar (above the school’s name) in the very top left corner of the Parent’s Booking Page to swap between your children

Useful app – help your child to read

Please see the following app which is free to download (until 8th October) and is suitable for children in the first stages of learning to read, or for older children who need a bit more practice. We use this app in St. Timothy’s. Some children have logins.

Hi there,

Our Bafta-nominated Teach Your Monster to Read app is free for teachers to download on all app stores until Tuesday 8th October 2019.

The game, developed by The Usborne Foundation, has now been played over 40 million times and helped over 4.5 million children learn to read!

The app includes all 3 of our games (over 16 hours of phonics learning). It has been designed in collaboration with leading academics at the University of Roehampton and complements all synthetic phonics programmes used in schools.

Download the app this week for free, plus there’s nothing to pay after the free period ends.
