It’s World Book Day! Here we are enjoying our books and learning new things.
Primary 6 Transition
Primary 6 finished their last session at St Maurice’s High School today as part of the Transition Programme. Over the past three weeks, they have been working hard with Mr McConnell from the Technical Department to make a ‘Maths Game’, filing down their plastic and marking out it correctly.
Perfect Pancakes
Mrs McLennan, Miss Robertson and Miss Wilson were not as adventurous or confident in their pancake making skills as the Nursery today so they brought in ‘shop bought’ pancakes for the children.
Pancake Tuesday
We had super fun tossing our pancakes today.
Nursery Library Visit
We had a fun time celebrating World Book Day at the library. Some of the children dressed up as their favourite story book characters.
Student of the Week and Star Writers
The new Student of the Week and Star Writers received their certificates today.
Primary 7 Star Writers
Primary 7 children produced excellent poems about spitfires fighting in World War Two. Here is a picture of the star writers. Well done!
Pupil Achievements
I received this medal for taking part in the Winter series in BMX.
Primary 3/2 ICT
We are improving our typing skills and our internet skills. We typed our work on the Roman Empire in 100 AD. We also learned how to research a map for the Roman Empire and inserted it into our report. How great are we?
