Hosanna Rock Dress Rehersal
Primary 4 – 7 had the privilege of watching the Infant Dress rehearsal of Hosanna Rock!

Primary 3 Writing
Our instruction writing this week was all about how to make Christmas tree decorations. We think they turned out really well. There was also some super writing again this week!
Snowman Biscuits
We made some melted snowman biscuits as part of our writing. We wrote instructions on how to make them. It was great fun!
Nursery Applications

Will your child be 3 before 1 March 2018? If so, you should apply for a nursery place by Friday 16 December 2016.
The funding dates for 2017/18 are as follows:
- Children who reach 3 years of age between 1 March and 16 August 2017: the start date will be 17 August 2017
- Children reaching 3 years between 17 August 2017 and 28 February 2018: the start date is the day after the child’s 3rd birthday

Christmas Fayre
Thank you to all who came out tonight to support our annual Christmas Fayre. It was a great success! Santa was very popular with the children who waited patiently to see him. I hope he remembers to put everyone on his nice list!
Many thanks to our local businesses who donated prizes or had a stall in the hall.
St Andrew’s Day Mass
We will be celebrating Mass on Wednesday for the feast of St Andrew. Primary 6 will be helping to celebrate Mass by taking part in the Offertory and reading the Bidding Prayers. You are most welcome to join us for this celebration and Father Michael will help us celebrate Mass at 9.30 am in the School Hall.

Advent Appeal 2016
Advent begins this Sunday. During the four weeks of Advent, we will prepare and remember the real meaning of Christmas. This year, as part of our Advent appeal, we will be collecting for the local foodbanks.
