The Water Cycle Investigations
Primary 6 have been learning all about the Water Cycle. Here are our experiments from today on investigating evaporation and the Water Cycle.
Nursery Easter bonnet parade and daffodil tea.
Thank you to all our parents and carers for your support and generosity during our daffodil tea. Money raised will be split between Marie Curie and Mary’s Meals.

Pupil Achievement
Fire Safety Talk
Primary 5-7 took part in a presentation from the local Fire Station on Fire Related Anti-Social Behaviour.
They learned about ways they can be safe and avoid being caught up in anti-social behaviour related to starting fires.
Transition for our new Primary 1’s
Yesterday was our first Transition day for our new Primary 1 intake. They took part in some games with our Active Sports Co-ordinator, Richard Harris.
We look forward to seeing them again at our next event on 19th April 2017.
Mother’s Day Coffee Morning
This Friday, 24th March is our Mother’s Day Coffee Morning. Tickets are priced at £1.00 and include tea, coffee and baking. The coffee morning is open to everyone, especially parents, grandparents, friends and pupils of St Michaels Primary and Nursery. So please bring along your family and friends and help make this annual event a huge success.

Sow and Grow Update
We are so impressed with our progress in just one week. Hopefully the runner beans and baby carrots will start to grow soon.
SSPCA
The Primary 1 – 3 children took part in an assembly about caring for animals and the children from Primary 4 – 7 had the opportunity to take part in a workshop within their classes.
Primary 6 to part in the ‘Pet Patrol’ workshop from the SSPCA yesterday.
