St Michael’s Has Talent

Last night, some of our Primary 7 girls from the choir took part in North Lanarkshire’s Orchestral and Choral Concert.

They have been great ambassadors for our school as over the past few months, as they have taken part in writing  the song that they performed last night.

Here they are in rehearsals before the concert.

We became very interested in castles and researched and discussed the different parts.

We designed our own castles last week, and this week we made our designs a reality with cereal boxes and cardboard tubes.

We had a fantastic time, and enjoyed helping one another to complete them.

World Book Day

Today was World Book Day and we were thinking of our favourite books and authors.  Michael Morpurgo is an author who excites and inspires is to read more.  We are very lucky to have lots  of his novels in school and we have the opportunity to read them as part of our learning,
