Common Words
Primary 1 are working hard on their dictated sentences using their common words.
Coffee House and Food Safety
AS part of their Food Safety project, Primary 7 received a very informative visit from Mr Reilly, a NLC Environmental Health Officer, who spoke about his job and food hygiene standards. The children also got the chance to use equipment that measures germs and bacteria.
Our third group of Primary 7 children did extremely well during their work experience at the Coffee House.
This Week in Primary 6b
The children have been developing their gymnastic skills in PE.
They have worked co-operatively to create their own anti-cyber-bullying campaigns. They also showcased them on the BIG screen!
This Week in Primary 2
Primary 2 have been testing their partners through dictated sentences. Look at their fantastic spelling.
They created their own Roman shields on a drawing packing during their ICT time.
This Week in Primary 1
Primary 1 created beautiful dinosaurs using the Splosh programme in ICT.
More fantastic dinosaurs in Primary 1. They have been using pointilism to create Stegosaurus.
This Week in Primary 3
Primary 3 had a lovely time visiting Moodiesburn Library and listening to some great stories.
They discussed a baby’s milestones and explored how to keep a baby safe at home.
They designed and created their own Roman shield.
They also had fun using Sumdog!
This Week in Primary 2/1
The children have enjoyed creating their own Stegosaurus dinosaur using glitter.
They have been using Pic Collage on the i-Pads. They took photographs of each other and used different tools to create a picture.
This Week in the Nursery…
The Afternoon children enjoyed their visit to the Library.
The children have been busy developing their fine motor skills.
The children have been retelling the story of the Gruffalo. They described the characters and their parts from the story.
Primary 5 this week….
Primary 5 are growing in confidence when speaking French and are able to translate different greetings.
They have enjoyed suing the ICT suite to download and save pictures onto a PowerPoint presentation all about Clyde in the Classroom.
