Continents of the World

Science Experiment
Primary 5 have been learning about solids, liquids and gases. Today they carried out an experiment to find out what happens when you mix a solid (baking powder) and a liquid (vinegar) together.
They discovered that it created a gas!
Working Together
Primary 5 carried out reciprocal teaching to help share their ideas. They used peer assessment to give feedback to their partner to show they understood how to spell their phonemes.

Primary 5 have been learning how to use descriptive language to create an interesting character and setting description for our narrative piece of writing, ‘A Castle in the Sky.’

Primary 5 have been learning different types of strategies to help with subtraction. Working together they shared their process of thought.

After looking for signs of Autumn in our school grounds, we carried out ‘Colour, Symbol, Image’ (CSI) together for a deeper understanding of this beautiful season.
