Stay and Play
We are offering a stay and play toddler session in the school for children who are between the ages of 2 and 3.
These sessions will take place between 9.15am until 10.30am on Friday mornings. The sessions will consist of structured, modelled play sessions led by Play Practitioners from Barnardos and from around 10.15 am will finish with a snack and a story while parents can have a tea or coffee.

Coffee and a Chat
We are inviting Nursery parents/carers to come along for a coffee and a blether in our Nursery. This may be an opportunity to meet other parents or seek some advice. Barnardo’s are helping to host these sessions.

Reconciliation Workshop
First Reconciliation meeting will be held on Wednesday, 18th January at 6.30 pm for parents of Primary 3 children who will be making the Sacrament.
Sacramental Preparation
Our Primary 3 and 4 children will begin preparation for the Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Holy Communion.
Both year groups have the opportunity to go on a retreat to Holy Family Parish Centre, Mossend as part of their preparation.

Coffee House
Thank you to everyone who came to support our Senior pupils as they began their work experience on Friday at The Coffee House. They did an excellent job and were fantastic ambassadors for our school!

Dino Man
A lucky Primary 1 won a visit from The Dinosaur Man, who provided a great dinosaur experience for the infants on Friday.
World of Work
Primary 7 and 7/6 receive staff training today before they begin their work experience at The Coffee House on Friday.
The children will be working in the Coffee House over the next four weeks. Dates and special menus are as follows:
- Friday, 13th January – English Menu
- Friday, 20th January – Italian Menu
- Friday, 27th January – Scottish Men
- Friday, 3rd February – French Menu
We would be delighted to see you as the children take on this wonderful opportunity to learn new skills and experience the world of work.
