Nursery Nativity

This Wednesday, 14th December, our Nursery children will be performing the Nativity of Whoops a Daisy Angel.  The children have been working hard to learn their lines and songs.  for some of our children, this will be their first performance in front of an audience.

Please contact the Nursery for ticket allocation.  Tickets cost £3 and should be paid for in full before Wednesday.  Entry is by ticket only.  Doors will open at 1.15 pm and the performance will begin at 1.30 pm.  Please enter by the main school entrance.

Pantomime Fun at the Pavillion

Tomorrow we are going to the Pavilion to see Elfie’s Magical Adventure.  the children have to wear their full school uniform.  The children should bring their snack and a juice in a plastic bag, keeping their lunch separate, as they will have this on return to school after the pantomime.

No hot meals from the dinner hall will be on offer tomorrow, only sandwiches.  All children should bring a packed lunch or order a sandwich meal from the dinner hall.

Nursery Applications

Will your child be 3 before 1 March 2018? If so, you should apply for a nursery place by Friday 16 December 2016.

The funding dates for 2017/18 are as follows:

  • Children who reach 3 years of age between 1 March and 16 August 2017: the start date will be 17 August 2017
  • Children reaching 3 years between 17 August 2017 and 28 February 2018: the start date is the day after the child’s 3rd birthday

Christmas Fayre

Thank you to all who came out tonight to support our annual Christmas Fayre.  It was a great success!  Santa was very popular with the children who waited patiently to see him.  I hope he remembers to put everyone on his nice list!

Many thanks to our local businesses who donated prizes or had a stall in the hall.

St Andrew’s Day Mass

We will be celebrating Mass on Wednesday for the feast of St Andrew.  Primary 6 will be helping to celebrate Mass by taking part in the Offertory and reading the Bidding Prayers.  You are most welcome to join us for this celebration and Father Michael will help us celebrate Mass at 9.30 am in the School Hall.
