Parents’ Evening

Parents’ Evening

Mrs Stevenson will be holding her Parents’ Evening on Wednesday 22nd November and Wednesday 29th November between the time slots of 3.10-4.30pm.

The Parent Interviews will be held in the Agency Room within the school and each appointment will last 7 minutes.  However, in order to offer you a further opportunity to look at your child’s work the classroom will be opened.  Please ask your child to show you around the class and explain all the exciting things that they have been learning.

Please indicate replying to the email sent to the email address you supplied us with at the beginning of the school year.  I would be very grateful if you could reply to this email as soon as possible as this gives us time to make appointments.

Thank you for your co-operation.

Yours sincerely

Can you help?

As you may be aware the Tombola Stall is a very popular and successful attraction at our Christmas Fayre.

In order for this to be a success we require donations of unused/unwanted gifts.  Toiletries, games, bottles, perfumes, biscuits, sweets etc. would all be most welcome.

I would be grateful if you could please send any donations to the school office as soon as possible.

Many thanks

Primary 7/6/ had a day filled with fun during their Outdoor Learning day.  They explored the local community, tidied the Eco Garden to make sure it is ready for the Winter, made aerial maps and worked in teams to create dens in our forest.  They finished off the day with hot chocolate and marshmallows.

Primary 1a have been using the outdoors as part of their learning this week.  We have been looking for signs of Autumn, collecting leaves and using them to make leaf collages of animals.  We have also been taking pictures Autumn trees and adding our own Autumn leaves to them using the app Doodle Buddy.

We have also been learning about 3d shapes, sorting them and using them to make our own towers and buildings.
