It has long been our wish to have Mass at the Shrine of St. John Paul II which is located in Carfin Grotto. We have planned this as part of our Jubilee activities. Our Pilgrimage will take place on Thursday 1st May 2025. More information will be circulated, however, we wanted to invite everyone to join us for our Pilgrimage Mass at 11:30am. Mass will be outdoors, so please say a prayer that the forecast remains positive… right now, it is for light clouds, sunny spells and 0% chance of rain!
We are extremely grateful to Fr Bogan, Fr Morris and their parishioners for covering the cost of the transport.

The Book Fair will be open tomorrow (Friday 4th April) if anyone would like to make a purchase. We will be able to take cash. The more we sell, the more commission we get, so thank you to everyone for the support. We will be able to top up our Library stock with this commission.
There will be no Mass at 8:20am on Friday 4th. Instead, Mass will take place in the school assembly hall at 11am. All parents/carers/grandparents, etc. are welcome to attend. Note – Mass is in school and not the church!
We hope you have a lovely holiday and we look forward to seeing you on Tuesday 22nd April 2025.

Please see the information below about our Lenten Fun Day which takes place this Friday. We are still looking for Tuck Shop donations (multi packs of crisps, sweets, biscuits). No lollipops if possible, as they are a hazard in the playground.

On Wednesday of this week Primary 4 children will be visiting classrooms with a raffle prize. The tickets are £1 per strip and will be sold in the afternoon.
Along with this there are handmade Easter bunnies and chicks at £2 each. These were made at the after school’s club.
On Wednesday P4 are organising an obstacle course for each stage. This will be £1 per person or £2 per family and juice is included in the price. Children will visit the obstacle course throughout the day.

Today our amazing P5 and P6 Choir Members took to this beautiful stage at the Royal Concert Hall for the Glasgow Music Festival.
The children performed first and set the tone, not only with their gorgeous singing but with their behaviour, attitude and effort. We are beyond proud of each and every one of them! What a fantastic experience for them. Big thanks go to Mrs McGregor, Mrs Lyall and Mrs MacFadyen for all their hard work to prepare our children. 💙💛

Ash Wednesday – 5th March 2025Father Morris will join us for an Ash Wednesday Service. This will not be Mass. There will be a Liturgy of the Word with Blessing and Distribution of Ashes. The Service will begin at 11:15am and all are welcome to join us (as previously announced in our February Newsletter).
As is our Tradition, Father Morris will celebrate Mass each morning during Lent at 8:20am. We start Mass sharp in order to allow time for the children to be able to attend Breakfast Club. So please do try to be on time! Mass generally lasts about 20 minutes and it is a great way to start each day during Lent!
Our first Mass will take place on Thursday 6th March 2025, then Friday 7th March. From then on, they will be every week day unless otherwise announced.
We invite all Parents/Carers, Grandparents and parishioners to join us for our morning Masses.
