Primary 4 shared information at assembly about what babies need. They shared informations on:
The children are putting together a baby layette and are asking for baby things to be put into it. The layette will then be given to the innocent society who provide support for families.

Primary 4 shared their work for the ACN with us at assembly. They showed us their lovely hand made red flowers and shared a video.
Next week is Catholic Education week and the primary 4 children are asking the school community to support their work for the Aid to the Church in Need Charity.
Red Wednesday 20th November
Children are asked to add something red to their uniform – a flower, ribbon, bow to mark Red Wednesday. Children are asked to pray for those in the world who need support from the charity and they will be holding a cake sale on Wednesday to raise funds. Support from the school community with donations of cakes would be much appreciated. The children will be able to buy a cake at break and lunchtime.

Our boys and girls have had another fabulous week in St Bart’s. The children thoroughly enjoyed a variety of after school clubs and other sporting events this week. We are so lucky to have as many activities as we do on offer!
P1/2 and P2/3 have been working hard, learning about our community as part of interdisciplinary learning. They are collecting tins of food – ravioli, macaroni, tinned meats etc to give to our local food bank. Pastor Stuart visited our school, during Wednesday afternoons’ assembly to tell all of our boys and girls how it works and how they could help. If you could support with this, it would be greatly appreciated and please feel free to contribute any donations that you can. Thank you in advance.
Christmas is fast approaching and as such we are organising a Christmas Fayre on Saturday the 23rd of November. We would kindly ask that you help support the school with providing donations for our popular hampers – your child’s class teacher will be in touch with this. We will also be organising bottle stalls, Bric a brac – a great excuse to do a clear out just in time for new toys from Santa to fill the space… This will be a fun packed event with lots of outside vendors selling fabulous gifts for Christmas. We will keep you posted!

Wednesday 6th November
Well done to our fabulous pupils of the week!
Congratulations to this weeks winning house.
Congratulations to this weeks Cool Class Cup winners.
Pastor Stewart came to visit us at today’s assembly to speak to us about the local foodbank in our area. He told us about the wonderful work they do in helping to provide food for people who need some extra help.
Our primary 1/2 and 2/3 children then told us that they have been learning about the fantastic work of food banks and we have asked everyone in our school if they would be able to help us in gathering some non perishable items for us to deliver to our local foodbank to help those in need. We would ask for all donations to be handed in for Friday 15th November please.

Our boys and girls have had another fabulous week in St Bart’s. The children thoroughly enjoyed a variety of after school clubs and other sporting events this week. We are so lucky to have as many activities as we do on offer!
Our Halloween disco was a great success, and children thoroughly enjoyed dancing and having fun with their friends. We truly appreciate our parent volunteers who supervise at these events as lack of supervision could mean that events are cancelled. Thank you in advance. Congratulations to Sophie in P6 for winning the Halloween hamper – enjoy!
