At assembly we had visitors who came to talk to us about Mary’s Meals.
Liz and Brenda came to collect the money we have raised during lent to support the charity.
They told us all about Mary’s Meals. It was started in 2002 and it raised money and was able to feed about 200 children. Now it works in 15 different countries feeding 2.6 million children giving them a meal at school. A meal for a child is 10p and £19.35 can feed one child for a year.
