Our third week back after the Christmas holidays has been full of fun! The children have enjoyed several exciting activities, especially outdoor learning and play based tasks, in addition to a wide variety of sporting and musical activities. What a busy place!
A huge thank you to all our parents and carers who have enrolled their children with our school for P1 and our Nursery. We look forward to seeing you in August
Our report from the Care Inspectorate has been published and we are delighted with the many positive comments contained within in to illustrate ‘very good’ grades across the board. Thank you to our wonderful team!

Our second week back after the Christmas holidays has been full of fun! Our children have enjoyed several exciting activities, especially outdoor learning and play based tasks.
Our enrolment for P1 last week has been positive with several families choosing St Bartholomew’s as the centre for learning for their children. Thank you to all and a huge welcome to our new P1 children, who will start transition in May. We look forward to welcoming you!

A huge welcome back to the start of our third term. Happy New Year to everyone in our school community! I hope that you all enjoyed some quality time with family and friends over Christmas and New Year and that Santa was good to you.
We have returned to school with a bang. Care Inspectorate carried out an inspection of our nursery, looking at:
I am delighted to report that we have received 3 ‘Very good’ ratings. Our staff team are overjoyed at this wonderful recognition of the skills and knowledge that allow for quality outcomes for our children. Well done everyone, I am so proud.
Please keep an eye out for messages on Groupcall as we have messaged details about Low Intensity Anxiety Management, LIAM, sessions that ae provided by CL&D at Riverbank school. programme.
Enrolments for P1 in August takes place this week and new families are most welcome. Please remind family and friends to pop in.

Children who attain the age of 5 years between 1 March 2026 and 28 February 2027 should be registered for education during the week commencing Monday 12th January 2026 – 16th January 2026.
Please note that you MUST enrol your child at their local catchment area school, even if you plan to defer or make a placing request.
