Last week, our pupils have maintained their enthusiasm for learning and being part of school life again. It is so nice to catch up with everyone and hear about their adventures during the summer break. They missed us and we certainly missed them!

Regular attendance at school is so important and we ask that every effort is made to ensure your child receives their full entitlement to education. We love seeing the children every day and contributing to their progress. It makes such a difference.

Could I please encourage any parents and carers to get in touch with us if their child’s attendance falls below expected levels. It is so important to be at school, every day, so that children can be the best that they can be and make lasting and authentic friendships. Thank you in advance for your support with this.

Please remember it’s St Bartholomew’s day on Monday 24^th August where you are all invite to attend mass at St Bartholomew’s Church at 9.45am for mass. We hope to see you all there – especially our new P1 parents and carers. Children will enjoy some treats in the afternoon.
