OLHS Virtual Sports Week

OLHS Virtual Sports Week

Virtual Sports Week is an opportunity to take on a series of physical activity challenges and compete for your house against other houses for fun, individual performance awards and overall house victory in the competition.

There are 10 challenges which you can complete throughout the week. You can practice and perform your challenge as many times as you want but are only allowed to submit one entry per activity (your best result).

You do not have to perform the activities in order or on one day but the aim is to complete as many as possible throughout the week, either timed or to maximum, depending on the activity. Each submitted entry contributes points to your house score. There are bonus points for the top individual performances in each challenge.

For Challenge #10 ‘Be Inspired’, you can send a picture, video or TikTok of you performing any physical activity from anytime or anywhere, not just in the past week and tell us why it is inspiring. The most inspiring pictures and/or videos win more points for their house.

We would love as many people as possible to get involved. Parents, siblings of pupils and all our staff are encouraged to enter and submit their results using the links provided under each challenge.

Please help spread the word and get as many people participating in the Our Lady’s Virtual Sports Week Challenges.

Good luck everyone!

Message from Mrs Cunningham

Message from Mrs Cunningham

I hope you and your families are safe during this difficult time.

As we continue to follow the Scottish Government advice and stay at home, I am aware that many parents will be juggling with working from home while ensuring that their young people are keeping up with school work. Pupils may also be finding it difficult to do their school work out with the school setting. This is a very stressful time and I want to reassure you that the most important priority for everyone in the Our Lady’s High School community is to look after our mental health and stay safe.

We are really missing our pupils and the ability to meet as a community every day. We are working hard to prepare for a time when it is safe for us all to be together again.

Mrs Cunningham. Head Teacher.
