Senior Boys Football Team

Our Lady’s High School Under 18s defeated Dalziel High school 7-1 in the Lanarkshire Hannah Cup. The boys were absolutely fantastic from front to back and were deserved winners.

Harry Tough had a great game in goals, as did Lewis Wilson and Jack Grimshaw in defence. Thomas Halleran scored a hat-trick with the other goals coming from Liam Johnson, Sam McNee, Andrew Tonner and Rico McCreery. They are now into the last 16 of the competition. The boys are also through to the third round of the Scottish Cup with a 5-1 victory over McLaren High School. On that occasion Sam McNee scored a hat-trick and Liam Johnson scored two!  Mr Maxwell and Mr Hughes are delighted with the behaviour and discipline of the boys so far and are anticipating a successful season.

Supporting our National Football Team

We had a night to remember on Thursday 5 October for the pupils and PE staff who attended the Scotland v Slovakia game at Hampden Park.

The atmosphere was electric and Scotland won the match with a goal in the dying minutes of the game. For many of the pupils it was their first visit to the National Stadium and now they have an experience they will never forget!
