Subject Champions

On Friday 21st of February, all S2 pupils participated in a Subject Champions Event. This involved all pupils finding out information about each curricular area to help them when making their options choices. S6 Pupils brilliantly represented each department, preparing displays and practical activities showcasing the course content, employability skills and future career paths linked to each subject. They were able to answer the questions of our S2 pupils and provided them with a fantastic taster of each subject and what to expect if they choose it in S3. Our S6 pupils also met with parents at the S2 Information Evening and gave a fantastic account of what to expect from each subject. S6 pupils worked very hard in their personal development time to prepare for the event and their hard work and preparation ensured the smooth running of the day. S2 pupils will continue to explore each curricular area and share the knowledge they gained from our Subject Champion Day in Health and Wellbeing to ensure that they are making very well informed course choices! This is the final event which Subject Champipons are involved in, having already participated in Career Training, the P7 informaiton Evening and even delivering career lessons to our S4 classes. Well done to our S6 Subject Champions for all of their hard work!
