Curriculum Information


S1-S3 Broad General Education

The purpose of the Course is to provide a broad practical experience of art and design practice and related knowledge and understanding. The Course encourages learners to experiment with and use a variety of art and design materials, techniques and/or technology. The Course offers learners opportunities to develop their practical skills at a basic level by communicating their thoughts and ideas when creating expressive and design work.

Senior Phase

Throughout the National courses students will experience a range of creative art forms. They will explore and express personal thoughts and ideas through creative works.

Students will study a range of Artists and Mediums such as;

Steven Brown, Robert Burns, Ocean themes, Colour theory, Water colours, WW1 art, Film / Media Props, Paints, Paint Pouring, Abstract Art, Mondrian, Pastels, Oil pastels  and Murals.
