ACTING DEPUTE HEAD TEACHER (pupil equity funded post)  – Donna Jacobs

Generic remit applicable to all acting PT PEF Funded Posts:
• To participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of overall school priorities
under the direction of the Head Teacher
• To develop and prepare resources for use by staff in closing the poverty-related attainment gap
• To assist with the use of appropriate whole school pupil progress tracking mechanisms with an
emphasis on the tracking of attainment and wider achievement of pupils in receipt of free meals
and/or in SIMD deciles 1,2 and 3
• To play a key role in supporting children and young people affected by disadvantage
• To support school policy and practice in order to ensure effective transitions
