The school Careers Adviser, Ruth Noble, is based in Airdrie Academy every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Careers Adviser Gillian Tannahill will also be in school on a Monday. Services offered include face-to-face interviews, a drop-in clinic, and group sessions covering Career Management Skills, Labour Market Information and the website My World of Work.

My World of Work is designed for your child to get the help they need for the career they want.

In addition, My World of Work for Parents has information to support your child as they go through school and make choices about their future. From school subjects choices and University courses to looking for a job and Modern Apprenticeships. There is also more detailed information about the services available in school and a list of key dates that will help you plan when to help your child as they progress through school.
