On Friday 31st May 2019 some our very talented S1 and S3 Athletes competed at the Scottish Schools Relay Championships events at Hutchieson Grammar High School. Everyone ran very well mixing with the best of what Scotland has to offer at this age group. The athletes taking part were Struan Shaw, Cameron Totten, Daniel Menzies, Lucy Cummings, Luke Anderson  and James McManus.

Struan finished 10th in the Boys Group D 1500m heats running a PB of 4.59.49 (mix of S1 and some S2).
Cameron finished 8th in the Boys Group D 100m heats running a PB (mix of S1 and some S2).
Lucy finished 7th in the Girls Group B 100m heats running a PB 15.39 (Some S3 with mostly S4)
James finished 9th in the Boys Group B 800m heats running a PB 2.16 (Some S3 with mostly S4)
Daniel finished 6th in the Boys Group B 100m heats running a PB 13.23 (Some S3 with mostly S4)
Luke finished 6th in the Boys Group C 100m heats running a PB 12.59 (Some S2 with mostly S3) 

The conditions this year were brilliant for our young people at the Track and Field Championships although a little wet and windy for the Relay Championships.

Now that is the Track season finished the club can rest before the new term begins in August.
