Two of our senior boys Craig Cummings and Lewis Buchanan made the Lanarkshire select football team and played the first national trophy game this week.
Craig scored one of the goals in a resounding 6-2 victory. Well done to all involved and thanks to all of the coaching staff for all of their hard work and commitment.
Last session (2017-2018) pupils, staff, parents and friends of the school fundraised for 15 different charities across the year. The amount of monies raised was £11,152.56. Many fund raising activities took places across the year including Chari-oke (karaoke for charity), pancake flipping, sponsored walks, bake sales, The Big Lunch and decorating Christmas doors – to name but a few. Here is Janice McKay from Hope for Autism receiving a cheque for £13,11.00 for the charity.
