Health Week Update

Our health fortnight began on Monday and the children have been participating in a wide range of activities linked to health and wellbeing.  On Tuesday all classes took part in a Tae-Kwon-Do taster session.  The children enjoyed learning some self defence moves and were faced with some fitness challenges.  Primary 7 visited Brannock High on Tuesday afternoon to take part in fitness testing organised by the PE department.  On Wednesday many classes and the nursery children took part in a dance taster session.  Every day we have been running a Walking Bus and I’m pleased to say that we are seeing more and more people joining us!  This will continue next week.

The primary 5’s ‘Tooty Fruity’ enterprise topic is going from strength to strength.  The sales are great and feedback on the smoothies and healthy bars are very positive.  Let’s hope that business continues to boom next week!
