Vision, Values & Aims

Following consultation with Pupils, Staff and Parents in session 2017/18 we have developed our vision, values and aims, for Keir Hardie Memorial Primary School and Nursery Class. This provides the underpinning principles and beliefs for the development of the four capacities; Successful Learners, Confident Individuals, Responsible Citizens and Effective Contributors.

This vision is embodied in the school aims

Keir Hardie Memorial is an exciting and challenging school where staff work in partnership with the children, parents and the school community. Where everyone believes that they can make a contribution and are valued as individuals.

Our broad and balanced curriculum is of the highest quality, aiming to inspire a generation of lifelong learners, who take pride in their achievements and take ownership of their learning in a positive and caring environment

Children will become thoughtful and responsible young people who respect themselves, those around them and their environment.

A nurturing ethos where all feel secure and confident, children and adults are inspired to learn. Where we can celebrate difference and encourage everyone to meet their potential.

Our values of Respect, Inclusion, Honesty and Integrity are at the heart of all we do.
