New Links
Please keep an eye on the links at the side, I do update them regularly. They should be your first place to look for help, not Google.
Powerpoints for Tuesday’s revision
I thought I might share with you a powerpoint version of the files that will form the basis of Tuesday’s revision periods. To create these files I used the arrangement’s document. You can use these to create flash cards or just to jot down your thoughts in preparation for Tuesday.
On Tuesday the whole class are going to be given live on-line editing access to the original documents and each person will be given slides to work on. You will also be given another 2 slides to check once you have completed your slide. By the end of the double period we should have a completed and content checked presentation that we can use with the blog and by ourselves.
Multimedia – Graphics
Well we have finished the Graphics section of multimedia. There are a lot of posts on this topic from last year so search for them.
To revise this topic we will be creating a presentation using Google Drive.

Ta Dah!
OK well that’s that up and working.
As I add the video to the playlist a tweet is generated with the video’s name and a link. I am not going in to a lot of depth about how I did it but I used https://ifttt.com/ and a bit of the YouTube API http://gdata.youtube.com/feeds/api/playlists/PLYae7BnzE86l78uAS05pbILGXpjn6wkeq
Blog layout and YouTube Playlists
OK so I may have went a bit mental on the playlists, but I have now split the single Higher playlist into 4 seperate areas.
I then went through the blog placed the best YouTube links in the correct folder, some we have used and some we have yet to use but have fun with them. While I am on don’t forget to look for other teachers doing the same thing.
I have however knackered the layout of the site a bit. I will be tweaking it over the next few days to get it how I want it.
New found YouTube freedom
I have now got more or less all the access I need for youtube. This is now allowing me to create playlists and add new videos. I will check how I can add modification of playlists to twitter so that you can see what I am adding, I will also try and find an RSS updater so you can view the pages from here as well.
Pass Computing
Revise computing is gone 🙁 but Pass computing lives!
There are quizes and worksheets as well as revision materials. If you never got round to using the old site I STRONGLY suggest you give this one a shot.
