S4-6 Evidence Gathering and Prelim Exam timetable reminder
This is a reminder that the first prelim and evidence gathering for SQA National 5, Higher and Advanced Higher courses this year will take place in CNHS from Monday 7th-Friday 18th December.
Please follow the links below to find the details of the prelims schedule (previously issued on 4/11/20)
All National 5, Higher and Advanced Higher subjects will have at least one formal prelim or assessment exam during these times.
This year, more than ever, it is crucial that all young people working towards SQA qualifications prepare fully for these prelims and evidence gathering opportunities, and we would encourage them to be revising regularly in preparation for these assessments.
As you may now be aware the Scottish Government has updated the guidance for schools today and it has been published on their website.
The Scottish Government has announced that from Monday November 2 all S4-S6 pupils in North Lanarkshire are required to wear face coverings in classrooms as well as in corridors and communal areas. Please ensure your child has a face covering when coming to school and please discuss with them that these must now be worn in classes. Your co-operation with this latest Scottish Government guidance for schools is appreciated. Young people have been very supportive to date.
North Lanarkshire Corporate Communications will also be issuing their own communication via the usual social media channels over the weekend.
Please get in touch if you have any questions regarding the new guidance.
Thank you again for everything you are doing to support the school during the current situation.
All pupils involved with the YS Attain Project last term should bring their Young Scot Card to school on Sept 15th. @YoungScot and @KatyDonald2 will be in to upload free bus travel, free NL Leisure and free lunches to your card.
