Our room is also known as the Nurture Room. Nurture is significant to the development of our social-emotional skills, wellbeing and behaviour.
The children participate in a wide range of activities to help them build healthy and strong emotional relationships. They learn strategies to help them understand and deal with their emotions and they use their emotional literacy skills to verbalize their thoughts and feelings.
These are the six nurture principles – these principles form the basis for all interactions in the nurture room.
