Learning Dispositions

Throughout this year,  we have been focussing on learning dispositions. These dispositions help the children to understand the different ways they learn and how their learning can improve by showing an awareness of these. Each class was designated a superhero. Their task was to give  them a name appropriate to their disposition. The children in each class worked together to decide what that learning disposition would look like. They shared and presented their hero and disposition at assembly.

The dispositions are referred to in all classes and throughout the school.  The  superhero names were decided as:

Curious Caleb

Brave Ben

Ambitious Amber

Resilient Ruby

Persistent Pete

Cooperative Candy

Reflective Ruby

Motivated Matthew
