Week 3: “An attack, or not an attack: that is the question”: Cyber Incidents and international law    Students will be introduced to the Laws of Armed Conflict (LOAC) and International Humanitarian Law (IHL). Cyber 9/12 Challenge WEEK 1: Explaining the Technical Challenges September 13, 2024

Students will examine the technical aspects of a major cyber security incident with international consequences. Stuxnet is the example being analysed. The objectives are to   a) to learn about the technical elements of Stuxnet;   b) learn about and understand how Stuxnet was deployed and the implications of this for national infrastructure;   and c) allow students to practise describing and explaining these technical elements to a non-technical audience of decision-makers.  go to 9/12 home page Read more
