Cello Routine

Hi it’s Connie and Zoe and today we are going to share with you our cello routine.
So we do cello on a Monday.
We start off by getting our cellos out and that includes our bow, cello, music book and rosin.
Next we tighten our bow and rub rosin on the bow so that it doesn’t squeak.
After that we lay out the music we need for that lesson and extend our spike.
Unfortunately, we haven’t learned to tune our cello’s so our cello teacher tunes them for us.

We start off our lesson by playing a scale usually a two octave scale or a G major scale but it depends on what we are going to be playing that lesson.
Now we usually we learn a new song after practising the songs that we have practised at home.
Now it’s time to pack our cello’s away starting the cello itself then the bow then the music book.

Thank you for reading our blog post and we hoped you enjoyed reading our cello routine, see you next week.

Views of North Berwick & Vicinity (2)

John MarrSo far this week Law Primary School have thrown themselves into their research & investigation using Scran.

Yesterday, P5 used their digital detective skills to look at local heroes. The class then applied impressive, creative writing skills to produce some brilliant biopoems – all about local father & son, John & Freddy Marr. Here’s a sample of their hard work…

Friendly, Brave, Jolly, Caring

Father of Alfred, Grandad of Chris
