iPad Common Faults

Below are some of the most common faults we see within school when using the iPad. Please have a look below and see if a fix can be found. If you are unable to fix it, please get in touch with either Mr Green (gw17greentimothy@glow.ea.glasgow.sch.uk) or Miss McAllister (gw16mcallistersarah@glow.ea.glasgow.sch.uk)

Internet Issues?

Forgotten your passcode?

If you have forgotten your lock code, you will need to contact the school and arrange to have it dropped off. Mr Green or McAllister will need to wipe the iPad completely and reset this. This can take some time.

Forgotten your Apple iD password?

Contact Miss McAllister or Mr Green to reset your Apple iD password.
After it is reset, you will be asked to enter the temporary password on 2 different occasions. You will then need to make a new password, and you will put that in a further 2 times.

Battery Life

If your iPad is having battery issues, you will need to let your iPad completely run out of charge and die before charging again. Somethings its just been on the go to much and needs a rest – we all know how that feels…
