CALDERCUILT PRIMARY SCHOOL: Established – 27th June 1977.
A Caring school: Respect – Honesty – Co-operation – Responsibility
Dear Parents and Carers,
Thank you for visiting our school blog, I hope you find it helpful, interesting and enjoy reading about our pupils’ achievements and successes. I feel immensely privileged to be Head Teacher at Caldercuilt Primary School and Nursery Class, where we strive to have a high level of attainment, due to our hard working, confident and motivated pupils, our dedicated teaching and support staff and of course our supportive parents and carers as well.
At Caldercuilt we have high expectations and high standards for all our pupils and all our staff. We aim to create a happy, stimulating and nurturing environment and we encourage our pupils to follow our school values, develop their full potential and to respect themselves and others. Pupils are encouraged to play an active part in school life in a variety of ways where all of our children are part of a Children’s Working Party. This is a leadership opportunity for all of our learners allowing them to take action to make improvements in school and in our local community.
Our Parent Council are wonderful and play a very active and vital role in our school life and are always delighted to welcome new members to the Council. We value the importance of working closely and cooperatively with parents and there will be many opportunities for parents to be involved in the life of our school.
We look forward to working in close partnership with you. We pride ourselves in being a school with an “open door” where parents and carers will always be welcome.
