Congratulations to our P6 and P7s who took part in a Badminton Festival at Springburn Academy. They played some brilliant badminton and did themselves and our school proud!
This week we used the theme of Halloween to have lots of fun learning tasks and activities such as… The History of Halloween and why we dress up. Scary Halloween Stories using lots of interesting adjectives and nouns. Artistic Vampire Hands Bin Bag Spider Webs Skeletons And to finish off the week we had a blast at our Halloween Party!! We enjoyed dooking for apples, dancing and Halloween games. We
Primary 6 had a great time at our Halloween Party. Lots of prizes were won and we enjoyed games and treats.
The Health Heroes have been reminding classes that “Wake Up Shake Up” will be on a Wednesday morning at 8.30am. Please come along and join us. This is a great way to start the day and keep ourselves fit and healthy.
This week our spelling focus has been “ea” words. Our test results have been excellent and lots of us have earned dojos for super spelling. Our active spelling tasks and homework activities are paying off! In maths we have been revising our tables. They are very important as they help us solve so many problems in maths. Well done to Michael who was our “Hit The Button” champion. Please keep on practising

Parent’s night is coming up soon! Please check your child’s school bag for letters. The dates are the 9th and 16th of November. Once you have selected the day that suits send the letter back to class teachers. We look forward to meeting with you all to discuss your child’s progress.
