Congratulations Clyde!

Clyde were our house treat winners this term! We had a Family Fun afternoon on Thursday. The afternoon was spent playing games with the parachute, doing an obstacle course, Halloween arts and crafts and netball. We also had some Halloween treats. Our families were invited along and some members really dressed up for the occasion!  

Dig In Day- Update

We are planning on working on improving our playground week beginning 23rd October. The hope is that over the course of the week (Monday-Thursday) we can get as many people as possible to help any day between 3 o’clock and 4.30pm. If there is any day you would be available to help please let a member of staff know. The children are excited about what’s to come so please help

Dig In Day Cancelled

Due to heavy rain over night and predicted rain this morning we have had to cancel our planned Dig In Day. Watch this space for alternative arrangements. Texts and letters will also be sent with a new date.  Thank you to everyone who was planning on supporting us today and we hope to see you with your paintbrush in hand very soon!

Health Heroes

  Health Heroes Today our Health Heroes met with Miss Smith to try to get some ideas together to make our school a healthier place. The children had super ideas! What an amazing team this is going to be!

House Winners!

  Well done to Forth our winning house this term! The children and families enjoyed an afternoon of entertainment from Mark the Magician. The children were a credit to themselves and the school and showed why they were the winning house. There were also some well deserved refreshments on offer!

Primary 6 a/b Class Assembly

Primary 6a and Primary 6b have been learning about Slavery and Discrimination. Our class assembly will be on the 7th December at 9.30 in the upper hall. This will be an opportunity for us to share our learning with you and the rest of the school. Please come along and support us in this. We have been busy designing invitations so check school bags this week!  

Climate Change

          Our Eco Heroes and Rights Respecting Committee visited ST Martha’s Primary today to find out more about climate change. WE worked in teams to think about transport and the advantages and disadvantages of how we travel to school. A very interesting morning. We are looking forward to working more closely with Tom and our friends from St Martha’s Primary.

Dancing Showcase

Well done to our team of dancers who competed in the festival at Springburn Academy. We were all very proud of you all. An amzing routine performed to a very high standard. The group have been committed to our lunch time dance class and have given up their own time to represent the school. A big thank you to all the parents who supported the event!
