Gold Rights Respecting School Banner
has finally arrived and was proudly unfolded by some pupils this morning:

Donation of resources for our early year classes
– can you help? We are still looking for resources – Click here to find out what we are looking for.
Sports Day – Friday 29 May
Children should wear sports wear, ideally with a t-shirt in their house colour:
- Morton – blue
- Kinshaldy – yellow
- Scotscraig – green
A healthy fruit snack will be provided for all children. They should bring their usual water bottle to stay hydrated.
It is planned that the Endurance Race for P5-7 will take place in the afternoon so a hat and sunscreen are advised. With this in mind P5-7 will have an earlier lunchtime (12:15 – 1 pm).
Sun Care 🌞
As the weather is getting warmer, we kindly ask that children come to school prepared for the sun.
We strongly suggest that your child:
- Has sun cream applied before school
- Brings a water bottle to stay hydrated
If you would like your child to reapply sun cream during the day, please send this in clearly labelled. Children should not share sun cream with others to help prevent the spread of germs and to ensure that any allergies or skin sensitivities are managed safely.
Children are also allowed to wear a sun cap whilst outside; however, these should be removed when they come back inside the building.
Thank you for your support in keeping everyone safe and comfortable in the sunshine.
