Hope everyone had a great long weekend.
This week in literacy, we continued our learning about critical essays. After annotating and analysing our poems, we learned how to write an introduction and summary paragraph.
We continued our measurement learning in maths, focusing on calculating the volume of 3D shapes and estimating and measuring with accuracy.
In RME, we were learning about Islam. We learned about Ramadan and recreated Islamic style tiles. In PE, we continued our learning in gymnastics and football. We were focusing on control. We also continued our learning about coding using HTML and CSS. We created recipes of our choice, added pictures and make them eyecatching.
On Thursday, we had a lovely picnic outdoors to celebrate the King’s Coronation. We also had a great time playing at the beach on Friday Afternoon. A big thank you to RNLI Lifeguards for coming in to teach us all about water safety!
