30/9/22

This week we have been lucky enough to have a variety of creative experiences. We used music to represent minibeasts, and we had to think of the most appropriate instruments to show the movement of these little insects.

We have been continuing to understand spelling rules, such as, doubling the final consonant after short vowels before adding -ed, -ing, -er or -est to the root words.

We were lucky enough to be able to teach the P1/2/3 class some of our dance and were super impressed at their new found learning!

In a daring experiment, we have realised that we can use saws in class and still return home with all body parts in tact! We were measuring and creating quadrants which we took outside and watched an area for insects. We then recorded the insects we saw before sharing our findings back in class.

What a great week everyone
