17/3/23 Our Learning P3/4/5

We have enjoyed a busy week in P3/4/5. This week we have worked to be reflective on our achievements and learning in addition to participating fully in new learning. W

We were lucky enough to have time with Mrs Gaze this week where we developed our French language  knowledge. It was lovely having her teach us.

In numeracy we have been working to develop our understanding and confidence in division.

We have carried out some science experiments this week and enjoyed learning about what scientists do. We collected fingerprints and had a great time looking at them with the magnifying glasses for a real close up look for loops, whorls and arches. It was really interesting.

We loved exploring solids and liquids when making Gluck with cornflour and water. and we were amazed at how we could change to state of the mixture by applying various kinds of pressures.

everyone had a great time with our free learning beach afternoon on Friday and we were so lucky to have the best weather of the week for it! Plenty of creativity and exploration at the beach.  Thanks to everyone who came to help make that possible.
