What a wonderful week we have had this week. It all started on Tuesday with our visit to the museum. We jumped on the train, hiked up the hill towards the museum. When we arrived we were welcomed by the tour guides and shown our timetable of events. First thing we did was have a handling session of Ancient Egyptian artefacts. This was great fun and we were amazed and wowed that we were handling some real objects which were thousands of years old. Throughout the day we were able to visit the gallery to see more examples of Egyptian life, have lunch and then take part in a session with Dr Dan Potter who was an expert in Ancient Egyptian history. We played some games and had a lot of laughs during this. Highlight of the day was the ice lollies we devoured on the train home!

Mrs Young was so very proud of how well we represented ourselves and our school and this was reflected in us being awarded the HT certificate at assembly on Friday.

We have had a lot of other great learning experiences this week and are enjoying our time being taught by Mrs Gallagher.
