Another busy week in P5/6/7!

This week in literacy we focused on homophones and using these in context. We are continuing our learning in German and comprehension with Mrs Gaze. We also wrote newspaper reports about our recently formed pupil voice groups.

In numeracy, we are developing our learning of various strategies for addition and subtraction, with a focus on column strategy. With Mrs Gaze, we have been learning all about angles.

In PE, we are continuing to learn about indoor field/tack athletic events and learning Scottish Country Dances which we will perform at the next shared learning!

This week marked the start of Christmas Fayre prep! We have made posters to advertise the Fayre and our company’s product (Musical Trees). We also teamed up with P3/4/5 for choir, where we learned and practised Christmas songs.

On Remembrance Day, we visited the local church and shared some of the poems we have been writing in class. Everyone was impressed with their poems.
