This week in P1/2/3, P1 have been learning the ‘p’, ‘i’ and ‘n’ sounds in literacy while P2 and 3 have been learning how to write a diary. We understood that the more detail we added, the better our diary would be.

In numeracy, P1 have been practising to write their numbers and have been learning to match a number with an amount. In P2 and 3, we have been learning about place value.

In our topic work, we learned why the planets take different amounts of time to rotate around the sun. The closer the planet was to the sun, the quicker it rotated around it. We would have our birthday 4 times as often if we lived on Mercury!
