The pupils, staff and parents of Lynburn Primary School are committed to improving the health, safety and environment of the local community by encouraging more sustainable modes of transport to and from school. Through this charter the School pledges to:
- Maintain the School Travel Plan (STP) as a policy document in partnership with the school, pupils, parents and the local community
- Monitor and review annually the effectiveness of measures and changes in travel behaviour patterns
- Encourage development of new measures and promote healthier travel choices
- Work with Fife Council’s Education and Transportation Services, Fife’s Road Safety Unit and NHS Fife to achieve all of the above.
