A message from Miss Doyle
As we edge that bit further into term 3 and approach term 4 (after the Spring break) of the 2023/2024 academic session we are hoping to see some of the better weather soon, we are beginning to see some signs of Spring.
The remainder of this term is set to be busy with our Spring and Easter celebrations. Next term looks to be an exciting term as we welcome new children and prepare for our preschool children for moving on to school after the Summer holidays.
Drop off and pick up continues to be very busy, please ensure only 1 adult accompanies each child into their playroom and school children wait in the foyer. Just a little reminder about supporting your child with their routines each day by selecting lunch with them and we would like to highlight the importance of children being signed in and out each day by the adult only.
You will be aware that we will be welcoming HM Inspectors from Education Scotland to conduct an inspection during the week commencing 4th March. You can find out more about inspection, from the Inspection and review documentation pages of Education Scotland’s website.
We recently had contra vision fitted to the windows at the nursery entrance. These display our nursery logo, our values (Confidence, Kindness, Resilience and Respect) and inline with the work we have been undertaking with a focus on supporting regulation we have adopted Dr Bruce Perry’s approach of ‘Regulate, Relate, Reason’.
We hope you can approach staff to share information about your child. Remember Miss Kirsty Doyle, Depute Headteacher, is around to help with comments, compliments and concerns you may have. This can be done by phoning 01383602422 or emailing lynburnps.enquiries@fife.gov.uk
