Emotion Works

Emotion Works-

We have concentrated on the Triggers and Body Sensations Cogs during recent sessions.

The Yellow Triggers Cog- We discussed how triggers are events that make us feel either positive or negative emotions. We worked together to sort different triggers into positive and negative and discovered that sometimes they can overlap.

The Red Body Sensations Cog- We worked together to draw and label what our bodies feel like when we are: happy, sad, angry and scared. Well done to all of the pupils for such great ideas!

Emotion Workers-

The Emotion Workers wrote a persuasive email to Mrs Mcilhatton, explaining why they felt it would be beneficial for them to have a uniform that would help pupils identify them. They even designed their own badge to go on the front of their fantastic ‘Emotion Workers’ hoodies!

Our aim is to visit all classes in the school to explain our vision for Emotion Workers. We want to support learners in the playground who are dealing with tricky emotions and offer ways to help them feel better. We will share what we know about the Emotion Works cogs and hopefully make our school a happier place to be a part of.
