P3/4

Class Teacher – Miss Caitlin McFarlane

Pupil Support Assistant – Mrs Dawn Smith and Miss Eryn Rodgers

About us:

Hello, I am Miss McFarlane, the class teacher of Primary 3/4 this year. Learners  will also be supported in class by Mrs Smith and Miss Rodgers. We are all excited for the year ahead in P3/4. I have been teaching at Benarty Primary for 3 years, mostly in the infant department, and I am very much looking forward to helping the children be successful in their learning and building a positive environment where all children feel valued and cared for. When not teaching, I enjoy reading, art and being outdoors.

You will find our class in Room 16, where we will line up by the white door in the upper playground.

Seesaw will continue to be used to communicate with parents/carers, as well as to show off your child’s fantastic progress in learning. Please also do not hesitate to contact me via the school office if you need to discuss anything regarding your child. You will be given the opportunity throughout the year to participate in your child’s learning journey.

Days to Remember:

  • Gym days: Tuesday and Thursday. Please make sure children wear appropriate clothing and footwear.
  • Gathering: Wednesday and Friday.
  • ASPIRE groups: Friday afternoon.

Pupil Experiences:

The class led this year’s Christmas Nativity, ‘Hey Ewe!’. They learned a range of songs and performed with confidence and enthusiasm infront of the school and their families.

The class enjoyed a football taster session in which they practised skills and played games against each other. The children that enjoyed the sessions joined by the community football club.
