Hello my name is Miss Lauren Soutar and I am very pleased to be the class teacher of Primary 3 supported by Miss Terri Robertson. This is my second year teaching at Benarty and I am excited to work with the children and help them become successful in all of their learning this year.
Primary 3 will be working in room 14 and will line up at the door in the infant playground. Gym day will be on Friday and Outdoor Learning will take place on a Thursday.
This term our topic will be Mythical Creatures and we look forward to sharing our learning of this at our upcoming showcase on Thursday 26th September.
Term 2
This term Primary 3’s class topic will be ‘Festivals and Celebrations around the world’.
Primary 3 will be leading in the Primary 1-3 Nativity ‘Born in a Barn’. The children have been working very hard are very excited to be perfroming this to families on Tuesday 10th December.
Primary 3’s Christmas party will be held on Thursday 12th December.
The P1-3 Gathering is held on a Wednesday afternoon where we celebrate our weekly Star Writer, Maths Magician and Wellbeing Wizard. On a Friday we also have our Celebration Gathering so please inform us if your child has achieved any wider achievements so we can celebrate these in school also.
